Sticking to their theme of the Hall of Faces, HBO has released 16 new Game of Thrones character posters featuring both the living and the dead from the entire series. Check out the poster with Emilia Clarke in our gallery!
I added the first promotional photos of Emilia Clarke from Game of Thrones Season 6. What do you think? Are you excited with the new season?
Hello to everyone! I just adopted this site so, I am the new owner. My name is Nicky and you can know me from other websites, here is my collective if you want to take a look.
I am a big fan of Emilia and I was sad to see this site abandoned. I have stuff or Emilia and also, can get the new one so, will try my best to update the site. Also, I need to check everything here to know if this is working fine so, if you find errors, have suggestions… or something, please, write me.
Maybe, I am going to change the layout soon but first, I want to work with the gallery. Thanks for visiting and enjoy this new begining!
A few days ago Emilia attended the BGC Charity Day in London where she helped raise money in memory of the people who died in the terrorist attacks on 9/11. Quite some high quality photos of the day have been added to gallery. View them by visiting the following link.
Emilia recently attended a private dinner at the Erdem London flagship store launch. I have added some very pretty high quality photos to the gallery. Laura Carmichael also attended the dinner and as I love both Emilia and Laura, I was very excited to see them together. Emilia was wearing an adorable dress from the Erdem Spring Collection. You can view the photos by visiting the following link.
I have added lots of new and high quality photos to the gallery of Emilia at the GQ Men of the Year awards. You can view them in the gallery by visiting the following link. GQ has also released a new video of an interview with Emilia in the press room.
Emilia wins the GQ Woman of the Year Award
Congratulations Emilia! She also attended the GQ Men of the Year Award Ceremony. She wore a beautiful mini dress by Oscar de la Renta and I think she looked absolutely gorgeous. I have added 50 high quality photos of the event to the gallery and I will probably be adding more photos later. You can view them by visiting the following link.
Emilia Clarke is familiar to millions from television blockbuster Game of Thrones. As Daenerys Targaryen, female Queen and Mother of Dragons, Clarke has created a character as celebrated as male TV titans Don Draper, Walter White and Tony Soprano. The growing popularity of Khaleesi as a baby name may prove ill-fated for a generation of children, but it shows the extent to which Daenerys – and Clarke – has captured popular imagination. For many she is the standout character of the standout show of our time.
Of course there’s more to Clarke beyond the world of Westeros: in 2013 she starred in acclaimed crime caper Dom Hemingway, as well as treading the boards in a Broadway production of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. This year she entered film blockbuster territory, playing the iconic Sarah Connor in Terminator Genisys; and with Game of Thrones nearing its climax, Clarke will soon be free to pick the roles of her choosing. A TV icon – and she’s not even 30. Emilia Clarke was presented with her award by Sam Claflin: video.
In an interview with Die Zeit, Emilia talks about how Terminator Genisys was a dream come true for her. The article is in German, but in case there are fans who are either German or understand German you can read it below. A beautiful new photoshoot has also been released. I have added medium and low quality outtakes to the gallery. You can view them by visiting the following link.
Emilia Clarke doesn’t want to be remembered as Daenerys Targaryen
Emilia talks about taking over an iconic role and how she’ll be sad when her big show comes to an end.
Emilia Clarke doesn’t want to be typecast. On many occasions the “Game of Thrones” star, who plays determined Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen, has said she’s reluctant to do nudity — one of the reasons she turned down “Fifty Shades of Grey.” “I have done naked scenes before, and I was worried about being stigmatized by doing it again,” she admits. Now she’s in “Terminator: Genisys” playing a much more fierce character: Sarah Connor, the mother of post-apocalyptic revolutionary John Connor (Jason Clarke), who in the film’s own timeline has been fighting alongside nice killer cyborg T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger, again) since childhood.
Do you feel you’ve been lucky with the roles you’ve received?
If being lucky means being able to work for many years seeking an opportunity, then yes, I’ve been lucky. Television gave me a boost, but I don’t want people to remember me as Daenerys Targaryen from “Game of Thrones”.
The characters you play tend to be very strong. How alike them are you?
I’m not ultra feminist, but I feel that I identify with girls who can do everything, and who use their power to defend good causes. I now get to play with a very different version of a young Sarah Connor, and I like that a female character has become iconic.
Is it difficult to perform such an iconic role?
I think it was more exciting than scary; Sarah is legendary and beautiful. What we did was impregnate her with a different force and create something new.
You seem to gravitate towards action and fantasy.
I have fun. Although for that you have to be in shape and have good arms: holding weapons, shooting and running involves a lot of wheezing. When you see a big action movie, it seems like everything is easy, but when you start to do it, it’s not. Especially with Sarah, who’s a tough woman who becomes a warrior and draws strength from all sides.
